PCX 2019 – Registration

Registration options

We’ve got something for everyone as always! And as an incentive to register early, if we get enough registrations early on in the piece we just may be able to line up an extra band or two, as more live music is the first thing we will add if the budget hits break-even point!

Full Pass is cheap as chips (in fact it’s Pocket Change!!) for $120 all-in, the whole enchilada, the entire shebang, for early birds! After the end of August this rises to $130 (so the incentive is there to book early and help us confirm some extra details to make the event even more awesome).  All event entries are included, so that’s 9 events, with an amazing Australian band complemented by some of Christchurch’s best swing musicians playing LIVE MUSIC at 6 (or more…) events! Wow!

Family Pass is for those dancers who would love to share the dancey fun with their whanau but have young ‘uns to feed & water and tuck in.  So this pass includes all daytime events for the whole family, and one parent can also join the fun in the evening sessions.  Divvy up the events and all are happy.  How cool is that?  All for just $150.

We also have a Starter Pass – if this is your first exchange ever, we have a very special price of $110 and you get everything a Full Pass has to offer.  There’s never been a better time to head over to an event because you get a heap of bangs for your buck!

If you cannot do the whole weekend, sign up for a Mix & Match Pass and indicate which event you will attend.  The cost for each is on the events page. There’ll be door sales for most events as well, (unless we reach capacity! – do you dare take your chances?) but it helps us out a lot with planning if you know what you’ll be coming to and register in advance.

How do you keep it so cheap?!

PCX is completely run by volunteers, who give up their time and energy to organise an epic event just for you! The “Swingtown Rebels Committee of Awesome Events” does most of the hard yards (meet them HERE), but we can’t run the event without some assistance on the weekend from people who are coming who are happy to pitch in and help out a little bit – whether that’s helping at the door of an event, or doing setup or pack down for one of the dances. So if you don’t mind donating an hour or so of your time across the whole weekend,  then please tick the “I’m happy to help” option on the registration form. And to show our thanks, aside from warm fuzzies and our gratitude, you’ll also get a voucher for something delish to eat from our Saturday late night food truck! Yum.
