What:Well this is an event with multiple parts and locations to it. First: we highly reccommend you grab yourself a pass to He Puna Taimoana and come join us at the local hot pools by the beach to rejuvenate your muscles ready for the last day of dancing. Then we’ll head over to the South Brighton Domain for some fish and chips on the jetty followed by the much loved PCX tradition of jazz kick ball. What is jazz kick ball you say? It’s like if you moosh together solo jazz, baseball and soccer into one amazing game and then play it every year at PCX, good times. No particular athletic abilities needed, and families welcome (there’s a fab playground too!). Where: Hot pools at He Puna Taimoana, 195 Marine Parade, New Brighton Then move to the South Brighton Domain – Fish and chips near the South Brighton Park pier (note: this is the one that extends West into the Estuary by the Pleasant Point Yacht club and not the one that goes East on the beach!!) and kickball on the field by the playground Who:All your PCX buddies! When:Sunday 2nd April, Hot pools 10 am – 12 pm, Lunch ~ 12:15 pm, Kick ball ~ 12:45 pm.Remember: DAYLIGHT SAVINGS happened last night so don’t miss your extra hour sleep in! Wear:Sunblock (and other sun protection paraphernalia)!! Plus togs for swimming! Then for kick ball teams will be divided based on whether you are dressed as an athlete from a speed-based sport (think cycling, athletics, swimming etc), or a style-based sport (dance!, figure skating, skateboarding, gymnastics, etc.). Note: We reserve the right to decide that you look like a particularly styley speedster or a really fast stylistica, and reassign your team if needed for balanced numbers. Worth: Hot pools at your own cost (bookhere– bookings for this are available NOW and there are limited numbers so make this booking asap!), fish and chips can be ordered on your registration form, and kickball is free.
