What:The first night of PCX! Pick a team, and come along for a dance and a drink (there’s a bar on site), while you enjoy our first band of the weekend and the chance to catch up with new and old friends. Where: XCHC (Exchange Christchurch) Showcase space, 376 Wilsons Road, Waltham Who:Ellesmere Big Band! The last gig they played for us was arguably one of the best gigs ever by a local big band – let’s see if band leader Matt Davies can swing a repeat from the band! When:Friday 31st March, doors open 7:45 pm, band kicks off at 8:00 pm Wear:Are stripes your jam or are you a spotaholic? You can go all in with a pattern from head to toe, or you can keep it subtle (perhaps a pocket square or some snazzy socks?) but pick your team for the night and dress accordingly. Please note: the floor is polished concrete at this venue, so please choose your shoes accordingly and look after your joints – we want you able to dance all weekend! Worth: Included in a full pass, one person on a parents pass, or $30 single event (if not sold out prior). Wefweshments:There’ll be a bar available on site to buy drinks – no byo please.
