What: Don’t want the first night to end? Come and dance it away al fresco under the stars in the heart of the city! Taking advantage of the new location of the DanceOMat allowing us to pump our swinging tunes until 1 am we’re moving the party outdoors to this Christchurch post-earthquake institution (if a wooden floor and a music playing washing machine can count as an institution!).
Where: GapFiller DanceOMat, 211 Manchester St. Note: this is an outdoor venue so if our good weather booking is not honoured by the weather fairies then this event will be cancelled (silver lining = more sleep to preload for Saturday late night?)
Who: Our awesome DJs
When: Friday 31st March, 11 pm – 1 am
Wear: Just rock over in whatever you were wearing at the Friday night dance – but maybe add yourself a jacket or shawl in case it’s chilly. It’s a wooden dance floor but it lives outdoors so… maybe don’t wear your best suedes.
Worth: Free – no pass required
Wefweshments: BYO food and non-alcoholic drinks* if you feel like a late night nibble. * Note that, as the dance-o-mat lies within central Christchurch’s public liquor ban area, alcohol is not permitted.
